When we granted leave to file these consolidated mandamus proceedings, the issue presented was whether the court of appeals abused its discretion by ordering the trial court to set aside a permanent injunction granted while an interlocutory appeal of the prior temporary injunction was pending. Subsequent events, however, have rendered these causes moot. We therefore dismiss them, but in so doing, disapprove...
