This is an appeal from an order entered December 6, 1988, which granted judgment on the pleadings under the Code of Civil Procedure ("Code") (Ill.Rev.Stat.1985, ch. 110, par. 2-615(e)), in favor of plaintiffs in an action to recover money for certain real estate taxes allegedly owed by defendant pursuant to the terms of a written agreement.
