We have before us two cases consolidated by the Second District Court of Appeal in Watts v. State, 542 So.2d 425 (Fla. 2d DCA 1989). The issue presented is whether a 1985 amendment to the Youthful Offender Act limits the discretion of the trial court in resentencing a defendant upon violation of probation or community control.
