Irving Fireman's Relief and Retirement Fund appeals from a final decree of divorce ordering the fund to pay to Lynna D. Sears ("Wife") a portion of the benefits that would otherwise become payable to Donald E. Sears ("Husband"). In two points of error, the fund contends that the trial court erred in ordering it to pay a portion of the benefits which may become due to Husband directly to Wife because: (1) Chapter 76 of Title HOB of...
