The defendant, Randy Mink, was convicted, following a jury trial in the circuit court of Lake County, of unlawful possession and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. (Ill.Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 56½, pars. 1401(a)(2), 1402(a)(2).) The defendant filed a post-trial motion alleging, inter alia, that the State failed to introduce sufficient evidence of venue.
