The defendant, Mario R. Sosa, was charged by bill of information with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, to-wit: Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966. Pursuant to a plea bargain the defendant pled guilty to the lesser offense of possession of L.S.D. in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966.
