Bernhard F. Maeckle was convicted by a jury of two counts of guiding without a license and two counts of possessing illegally taken game. Superior Court Judge Victor D. Carlson sentenced Maeckle to concurrent terms of two years with one year suspended for guiding without a license and six months for possessing illegally taken game.
