Grant Heine was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1) (1988) and possession of cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 844(a) (1988). He was sentenced to concurrent prison terms of 19 months for possessing a firearm and 6 months for possessing cocaine and was ordered to serve three years of supervised release.
