OPINION

BYERS, Judge.

The defendant was convicted of violating Tenn. Code Ann. 55-10-616, by driving a motor vehicle after his driving privileges had been suspended because he had been found to be an habitual motor vehicle offender. Tenn. Code Ann. 55-10-601 et seq. He was sentenced to serve two years and pay a fine of $500.00.

On May 9, 1988, the defendant was found to be an habitual motor vehicle...
