This is a sex discrimination case against the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) and several of its employees filed by a tenure-track professor who was denied contract renewal. The suit was filed under both 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. A jury issued a special verdict under § 1983, finding discrimination, harassment, and retaliation...
