ANDERSON, Justice, for the court:

This is an appeal from the Circuit Court of Hinds County, Mississippi, wherein Moses Charles Everett, Jr. was convicted of sexual battery and sentenced to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Aggrieved, Everett timely appealed assigning several issues as error in the lower court proceedings.
