After a jury trial, the defendant appeals from his judgment of conviction of illegal possession of a narcotic substance in violation of General Statutes § 21a-279. The defendant claims that the trial court should have considered his motion to suppress based upon its ruling that he lacked standing to assert a fourth amendment challenge to the search of the apartment from which the evidence was seized...
