This cause is before the court upon a writ of certiorari. Petitioners, the defendants in a medical malpractice action, challenge an order of the district court granting respondents a partial judgment in that suit on the issue of liability. They contend that the district court's issuance of that order, as a sanction for petitioners' alleged failure to answer an interrogatory, constituted an abuse of discretion.
