FACTS

George M. Hamilton, Jr., was a longtime employee of Anderson-Dunham, Inc. (ADI) and managed one of the company's warehouses. During his employment with ADI, Hamilton embezzled a large sum of money from the company. Some of the embezzled funds represented voided shipping tickets for sales for which Hamilton had allegedly taken the proceeds, and some of the embezzled funds were derived as a result of payroll fraud.
