Intermountain Health Care Hospitals, Inc. (IHC) and the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) provided emergency medical treatment to a medically indigent patient. The hospitals filed claims with Bonneville and Bingham counties, seeking reimbursement for the cost of the services from the county responsible for payment under I.C. § 31-3506.
