Redwood originally filed its action in California Superior Court, alleging violations of the Cartwright Act, Cal.Bus. & Prof.Code § 16720. Appellees removed the case to federal district court, contending that Redwood's complaint, properly construed, advanced claims implicating federal antitrust law and that the nationwide character of its motion picture...
