LAGARDE, Justice.

Following denial of his motion to suppress evidence, Oscar Emilio Arcila, an illegal Colombian national, pled nolo contendere before the court to possession of cocaine. Pursuant to a negotiated plea bargain agreement, the court sentenced Arcila to a $1,000 fine and thirty-five years' confinement. In his single point of error he contends that the trial court should have granted his motion to suppress evidence because he did not freely and voluntarily...
