WOLLMAN, Circuit Judge.

Steven Roy Harper appeals the district court's1 denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. We affirm.

Harper was convicted of two counts of first degree murder for the poisoning of Duane Johnson and Chad Shelton. He was also convicted of three counts of poisoning with intent to kill, wound, or maim three other persons. The trial court sentenced Harper to death for each first degree murder
