The district court upheld the industrial commissioner's award of workmen's compensation permanent total disability benefits to Melvin L. Van Cannon (appellee). While at work, in the course of employment, Van Cannon suffered a heart attack. While undergoing open heart multiple bypass graft surgery, he suffered a stroke.
