Kim Anderson appeals a judgment notwithstanding the verdict ultimately reducing a jury award for the wrongful death of her son. We affirm.

On July 30, 1987, Dennis Anderson, a three-year-old, was killed when he was struck by a New Orleans Public Service (NOPSI) truck operated by Gerald Joseph during the course of his employment.
