WISDOM, Circuit Judge:

In this diversity case, the plaintiff/appellant's husband, Dr. Segismundo Z. Ureta, was killed on July 13, 1986, when a vehicle driven by Matthew Browne crossed over the center line of the Mississippi River Bridge and struck Dr. Ureta's vehicle headon. The plaintiff, Anne Andrake Ureta, filed suit against a number of parties including United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company (USF & G) seeking recovery for the wrongful death of her husband...
