On June 3, 1987, the plaintiff Rebecca Sippe (plaintiff) filed a complaint seeking temporary and permanent alimony, child custody and support, and attorneys' fees. On July 23, 1987, the defendant J. Lawrence Sippe (defendant) filed an answer which included a counterclaim for divorce from bed and board. At the time suit was filed, defendant resided in Charlotte, North Carolina and was employed at the Nalle Clinic there. Judgment in plaintiff's action...
