On September 9, 1988 the grand jury in the Eastern District of Missouri returned a three count indictment against Jeffrey Jones. He entered pleas of guilty to Count I (21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), possession with intent to distribute cocaine) and Count III (18 U.S.C. § 924(c), carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime). Count II (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1), felon in possession of a firearm) was dismissed under the plea agreement...
