Jorge Luis Buitrago was found guilty by a jury of aiding and abetting the distribution of over one kilogram of cocaine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and 18 U.S.C. § 2, and of conspiring with three co-defendants from June 12, 1985, until March 7, 1986, to commit that offense, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846. In consequence, he was sentenced to twenty years imprisonment for the conspiracy count and to fifteen years imprisonment...
