Plaintiff-Appellee Benita Franklin (Franklin) was involved in an automobile accident on November 1, 1986, during the course and scope of her employment as a delivery driver for Defendant-Appellant Pizza Hut, Inc. (Pizza Hut). She sustained injuries to her lower back and ankle and received workers' compensation from that date until May 30, 1987.
