NYE, Chief Justice.

A jury found appellant, Noe Lara, guilty of involuntary manslaughter, found that he used a deadly weapon during the offense and assessed punishment as five years' confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, probated for five years. By two points of error, appellant asserts that the trial court erred by denying appellant's pre-trial motion to halt felony prosecution and his post-trial motion...
