This is an action seeking worker's compensation benefits. Joe Louis Holmes was employed by Baton Rouge Water Works Company (Water Works).1 His duties were composed of heavy manual labor, including digging ditches, moving, lifting and operating heavy equipment. In approximately June and July, 1984, Holmes suffered chest pain during working hours while outdoors performing his allotted tasks. Plaintiff has not returned to work...
