REAVLEY, Circuit Judge:

Ellery Cornelius Oliver, an inmate at the Coffield Unit of the Texas Department of Corrections (TDC), raises a number of challenges to an adverse judgment on his section 1983 claims. Oliver's appeal requires us to make an initial determination as to whether this court is the proper forum for consideration of his challenges to the proceedings before the magistrate.
