EDMONDS, Judge.

Defendant appeals from a conviction for sexual abuse in the first degree. ORS 163.425. He argues that the trial court erred when it admitted evidence that he had sexually abused the victim's mother as a child. We reverse.

The state charged that defendant touched the vagina of a 10-year-old girl while she and her brother were riding with him in his pickup. According to the victim, there were multiple incidents of fondling, mainly in defendant...
