This case is before the Court upon the appeal of Ronald Dale Bennett from a December 8, 1988 jury verdict in which the appellant was convicted of first degree murder without a recommendation of mercy in the Circuit Court of Raleigh County. The appellant assigns the following as errors committed by the lower court: 1) the trial court erred in permitting Bennett's psychiatrist to be cross-examined by the State on the subject of the American Medical Association...
