Appellant was tried to a jury and found guilty of attempted murder, a Class A felony, I.C. 35-42-1-1; 35-41-5-1, and he received the presumptive sentence for that crime, which is thirty years, I.C. 35-50-2-4. The jury also acquitted appellant on charges of murder and attempted murder.
