This case arises out of a failed real estate purchase and development agreement among plaintiff, Frank E. Lanier, and defendants, Jack R. Wood and Eddy Rutman. Plaintiff sued for the return of money he allegedly advanced to defendants along with expenses he incurred in anticipation of the project and loss of anticipated profits.
