Piper Aircraft Corporation [Piper], is a foreign corporation in the business of manufacturing and selling aircraft and airplane parts. Piper is incorporated in Pennsylvania and has its principal place of business in Indian River County, Florida. Individual lawsuits were filed in Dade County against Piper on behalf of several German citizens who were killed or injured when an aircraft manufactured by Piper crashed in Germany.
