Appellant, Bertha Jackson, was formerly employed by the Ascension Parish School Board (Board). Jackson had served as a part-time bus operator since September, 1976. On or about October 31, 1983, Jackson began operating a bus on a full-time basis and served the Galvez Elementary School.
