Following our opinion in Coggins v. New England Patriots Football Club, Inc., 397 Mass. 525 (1986) (Coggins I), the parties executed a stipulation of settlement. The settlement required the plaintiffs to dismiss their claims in exchange for $584,000. The money was placed in an interest-bearing account for the benefit of the plaintiffs to be held by Coggins...
