In December 1986, the slain bodies of Benjamin Reynolds and his girlfriend, Beverly Kilmer, were discovered lying face down, bound and gagged, in the Reynolds' residence. Reynolds had died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Kilmer was also shot and, in addition, her throat had been slit twice.
