Defendants, Cigna Property and Casualty Companies and Deborah Segura, have applied for a supervisory writ, contending that the denial of their exception of no cause of action by the trial court was in error. We granted the writ in order to address a question of apparent first impression in this Circuit: whether a worker's compensation claimant and his spouse have a cause of action for an alleged intentional tort by the compensation carrier...
