Parfums Stern, Inc., a perfume wholesaler, engaged claimant as a fragrance model for a total of 11 weeks during the base period from April 1983 through April 1984. Claimant thereafter applied for unemployment insurance benefits. An audit was conducted for the first quarter of 1982 through the fourth quarter of 1984 and it was determined that claimant and a group of similarly situated models were employees, rather than independent contractors...
