This personal injury action arose out of a collision between a light pickup truck and a flat-bed delivery vehicle on February 14, 1986. Defendant, Robert A. Briggs ("Briggs"), was operating a Nissan pickup truck at approximately 1 p.m. on U.S. Route 192 in Brevard County, Florida. A friend, Stephen Murray ("Murray"), was his passenger.
