The defendant, Claude Lamb, was originally charged with one count of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(A), and one count of possession of 28 grams or more of cocaine, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(F)(1). Pursuant to a plea bargain, the defendant pled guilty to two counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
