CHAVEZ, Judge.

Claimant appeals the award of attorney fees in his workers' compensation claim. The workers' compensation judge (the WCJ) awarded claimant $4,000 in attorney fees after holding two hearings on claimant's motion for attorney fees in excess of the statutory maximum on the basis of respondents' alleged bad faith.
