Frederic Gussin and his father, Paul Gussin, entered into an arrangement with the defendant Richard Shockey under which Shockey agreed to assist the Gussins in buying, maintaining, breeding and selling thoroughbred horses. The Gussins, who were inexperienced "in horses," relied on Shockey's twenty years experience in buying and selling horses.
