Plaintiff appeals the trial court's dismissal of his worker's compensation action. After reviewing the facts and the law, we affirm.

Plaintiff is employed by the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans. On Monday, October 5, 1987, plaintiff arrived at work at approximately 4:30 a.m. and began filling out a written form relating to the work that had been performed on the previous Friday.
