Patrick Peart was indicted in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida on charges of importation of more than one kilogram of cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 952(a) and possession of more than one kilogram of cocaine with intention to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). A jury found him guilty on both counts. Peart was sentenced to a ten year term of imprisonment...
