On May 4, 1984, Mark Henry Lankford was found guilty on two counts of first degree murder. Following the verdicts, the trial court held a sentencing hearing and sentenced Lankford to death. Lankford appeals the murder convictions and sentence, the denial of his amended petition for post-conviction relief, and the trial court's denial of his second motion for new trial.
