The defendant, Leslie R. Andersen, was convicted of sexual assault on his 12-year-old stepdaughter and two counts of third degree assault on his wife. He was sentenced to imprisonment for 2 years for the sexual assault and to 6 months on each of the assault charges, the latter sentences to run concurrently with each other but consecutively to the sexual assault sentence.
