After a jury trial, defendant was convicted of the offenses of aggravated assault and unlawful use of weapons. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, pars. 12-2(a)(1), 24-1(a)(10).) He was sentenced to 12 months' probation with a condition of 90 days' incarceration, and ordered to pay court costs of $121, including a fine of $25 for the Violent...
