On January 25, 1988, defendant entered a plea of guilty to the first count of the indictment which charged him with the crime of burglary in the second degree. This plea was in full satisfaction of the indictment which also charged, as a second count, grand larceny in the third degree. As the result of a prior 1984 conviction for burglary in the third degree and a 1987 conviction for forgery in the second degree, defendant had to be treated...
