Appellant Brian Grancorvitz petitioned the district court for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. He claimed his Sixth Amendment right to an impartial jury and his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination were violated during his trial and conviction by the State of Wisconsin.
