At approximately 3:15 A.M. on February 6, 1988, in the Town of Rosendale, Ulster County, State Troopers Roberta Sheldon and Wilfredo Garcia observed a yellow Lincoln Town Car speeding on State Route 32 and proceeded to pull the vehicle over.
